Split one payment across several properties
A block insurance premium or one plumber's invoice covering several flats shouldn't be entered three times. A transaction can carry as many lines as it needs, each against its own property and category.
Start a transaction as usual
Date, type and reference belong to the whole transaction. The property and category belong to each line.
Choose Add line for each property
Each line gets its own property, category and amount. The running total at the bottom shows what the lines add up to, so you can check it against the invoice before saving.

Save once
It stays one transaction, so it reconciles against one bank entry — but each property is charged only its own share, and each share lands in the right category on the right property's figures.
Worth knowingThis is why splitting properly matters: a premium dumped entirely on one property quietly distorts that property's yield and its quarterly totals.
All names, addresses and figures in these screenshots are illustrative sample data.
